Venus of Jaffa are bubbles of air, copper, latex and tin. They are not dug from the ground, nor born from the sea, but rather sourced from the nearby streets of trade. Naturally artificial, their curves are spontaneously created in a range of skin and soil tones. They are a symbiosis of a metal skeleton and an entrapped body of air. Their short lives are a contemporary addition to a dynasty of mysterious figurines from ancient times.
