As humans we tailor our habitats to our needs down to the last detail. Our homes are our ecological niches, and we like to outfit them with all the comforts. We are accustomed to exercising complete control over this space - from the layout to the objects inside it and down to the animals we choose to share it with.

Noy (meaning: decorative in Hebrew) explores the term "aquarium fish" by transforming live animals into colorful abstract shapes. The project emphasizes the complexity of our asymmetrical relationships with pets, some of whom have been designed over generations to serve as ornaments and means of entertainment.
